คำอธิบายรายวิชา: ความสำคัญของสิ่งแวดล้อมและทรัพยากรทางทะเล ทรัพยากรมีชีวิตและทรัพยากรไม่มีชีวิตประเภทต่างๆสถานการณ์การใช้ทรัพยากรและปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมทางทะเลในปัจจุบัน ปัจจัยหรือเหตุการณ์ที่ก่อกำเนิดมลภาวะซึ่งมีผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและทรัพยากรทางทะเล โดยเน้นสถานการณ์ในประเทศและเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ รวมถึงภัยธรรมชาติทางทะเล คุณภาพน้ำ การรักษาระบบนิเวศ และการจัดการเชิงบูรณาการในการพัฒนาชายฝั่ง ข้อตกลงและข้อบังคับระหว่างประเทศ เครื่องมือ หลักการ และมาตรการทางกฎหมายและเศรษฐกิจ-สังคม ที่นำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการจัดการทรัพยากรทางทะเล  

Description: Importance of marine resources and environment; living and non-living resources; current status of resource uses and marine environmental problems; factors or occurrences that cause marine pollutions and have impacts on marine environment and resources with emphasis on situation in Thailand and in Southeast Asian region including natural-coastal hazards, water quality, ecosystem conservation, coastal development and integrated coastal management; international agreements and regulation, tools, principles, legal and socio-economic measures that are used in coastal resource management.
