คำอธิบายรายวิชา: พลศาสตร์ของการเคลื่อนที่ กระแสน้ำ สภาพการส่งและถ่ายพลังงานมวลสาร โมเมนตัม การสมดุลของคุณสมบัติต่างๆ ในทะเล เทอร์บูเลนซ์ กระบวนการดิฟฟิวชั่นและการผสม บีต้า-เพลน ชั้นที่เป็นขอบเขตระหว่างอากาศและทะเล และการทำปฏิกิริยาซึ่งกันและกัน สภาพจีโอสโทรฟิกและไฮครสแตติก กระบวนการในน้ำชั้นบนเทอร์โมไคลน์ และระบบการแบ่งน้ำทะเลเป็น 2 ชั้น สภาพสมดุล และทฤษฎีเกี่ยวกับกระแสน้ำสำคัญในมหาสมุทร  

Description: Dynamics of rotating stratified flow with friction neglected; stability, transport phenomena, conservation of properties in the sea; turbulent motion in a boundary layer and air-sea interaction processes; Beta-plane, Geostrophic and Hydrostatic approximations; mechanisms in mixed-layer, thermoclines and two-layer systems; wind driven circulation and model equations for the oceans.
