คำอธิบายรายวิชา: ปฏิบัติการเกี่ยวกับสมบัติทางกายภาพของน้ําทะเล มวลน้ําและการแบ่งชั้นของน้ํา การเกิดคลื่นผิวน้ําและคลื่น ใต้น้ํา กระแสน้ําผิวหน้ามหาสมุทรและกระแสน้ําจีโอสโตฟิก พลศาสตร์ชั้นน้ําเอคมานและน้ําผุด การเกิดคลื่นชายฝั่งและการ กัดเซาะชายฝั่ง น้ําขึ้นน้ําลงและเอสทรี การใช้งานแผนที่เบื้องต้นในพื้นที่ชายฝั่งทะเล การวิเคราะห์ขนาดอนุภาคตะกอนทะเล และปริมาณคาร์บอเนตในตะกอนทะเล การออกสํารวจภาคสนามสมุทรศาสตร์ชายฝั่ง และการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากการสํารวจ  

Description: Laboratory on physical properties of seawater, water mass and stratification, Surface and internal wave, ocean surface current and geostrophic current, Ekman layer dynamics and upwelling, wave in shallow water and beach erosion, tide and estuary; basic usage of cartography for coastal area; analysis of sediment grain size and carbonate content; field coastal oceanographic survey; field data processing and analysis

Description: Studies of the general circulation of the ocean currents; the distribution and variation of properties of the ocean; the interchange of kinetics; thermal energy and materials across the ocean surface; the propagation of sound and light and other electromagnetic energics in the ocean; the properties and propagation of ocean waves.
