คำอธิบายรายวิชา: หลักการ และแนวทางในการจัดการทรัพยากรทางทะเลและชายฝั่ง โดยเน้นกรณีในประเทศไทยและประเทศในภูมิภาคอาเซียน ความรู้ทั่วไปเกี่ยวกับกฎหมายและอนุสัญญาระหว่างประเทศที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสิ่งแวดล้อมทางทะเล นโยบายและแนวคิดของประชาคมโลกเกี่ยวกับการจัดการทรัพยากรทางทะเล มาตรการการจัดการและเครื่องมือต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้อง การกำหนดพื้นที่จัดการพิเศษในทะเล และมาตรการทางเศรษฐศาสตร์และสังคม   

Description: Principles and guidelines in managing coastal and marine resources, with Thailand and ASEAN emphasis; general knowledge regarding international laws and treaties of the marine environment; international policies and concepts related to marine resource management; management measures and related tools; special area planning and economic and social measures.

คำอธิบายรายวิชา: ความสำคัญของสิ่งแวดล้อมและทรัพยากรทางทะเล สิ่งแวดล้อมชายฝั่งและสภาพการใช้ทรัพยากรในปัจจุบัน ซึ่งรวมถึง ภัยธรรมชาติทางทะเล คุณภาพน้ำ การรักษาระบบนิเวศ และการจัดการ การพัฒนาชายฝั่ง ปัจจัยหรือเหตุการณ์ที่ก่อกำเนิดมลภาวะ ผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม และทรัพยากรทางทะเล เครื่องมือ หลักการ และมาตรการต่างๆที่นำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการสงวนรักษาทรัพยากรทางทะเล  

Description: Importance of marine environment and its resources; current situation of coastal environment and resource uses including natural hazards, water quality, habitat conservation and management of coastal development; factors or incidences that cause marine pollution and impacts on marine resources and environment; tools, principles and measures used in marine conservation.
